TAG Live® has launched TAG Talent, a new casting and talent management platform designed to simplify the way performers are recruited, auditioned, contracted and managed across its growing portfolio of productions.

The new platform represents an initial investment of £100,000 and has been developed specifically around TAG Live®’s casting operation, with the first phase supporting recruitment for its 2027 entertainment programmes.

TAG Talent is TAG Live®’s new casting and talent management platform, designed to manage performer recruitment, applications, auditions, contracts and talent administration in one centralised system.

TAG Talent has been created with the same technology development partner that designed and built Stage Act®, building on an established relationship and the experience gained through the development of the group’s act booking platform.

A simpler casting experience

TAG Live® recruits and manages hundreds of performers each year across productions for holiday parks, resorts, theme parks, visitor attractions and destination experiences.

The new platform brings the casting journey together in one place. Performers can create and manage their own profiles, upload headshots and showreels, browse casting opportunities, apply for roles, submit self-tapes and manage their applications throughout the process.

Talent agents are also able to manage multiple performer profiles and applications through a single account.

For the TAG Live® Casting Team, the system provides a central view of projects, roles and performers, with tools to manage applications, auditions, candidate scoring, communications, offers and contracts. Digital audition check-in, right-to-work and visa management, audition notes and automated contract generation are also built into the platform.

”Every year our casting operation gets bigger, with more productions, more roles and more performers coming through the process, so we wanted to make the whole experience much simpler for everyone involved.

When we started working on TAG Talent, the priority was to build something around how casting actually works day to day. We have spent a lot of time mapping the journey with the development team, from somebody first seeing an opportunity right through to auditions, offers and contracts.

For performers and agents, it means everything is in one place and it is much easier to manage. For us, it gives the Casting Team a much clearer picture of every project and every performer without having to manage information across lots of different systems.

The bit I am most excited about is that it gives the team more time to actually cast. Technology should make the admin easier, not replace the human side of what we do. Ultimately, we want to spend our time watching talent, meeting people and building great casts.

Built for future growth

TAG Talent is being introduced in phases, with casting and contract management forming the first release.

A second phase will extend the platform into performer and agent invoicing and feedback management, creating a more joined-up journey from initial application through to working on a TAG Live® production. The platform has also been built as a Progressive Web App, allowing performers and agents to access it across desktop and mobile devices.

The launch forms part of TAG Live®’s continued investment in the people, systems and technology supporting the increasing scale of the entertainment and experiences it creates and delivers.
