TAG Live® has continued its partnership with the UK Theme Park Awards, returning as Production Partner for the 2026 ceremony and joining the event as a Gold Sponsor.

More than 220 representatives from across the UK theme park industry came together at Pleasure Beach Resort in Blackpool on 10 September, following 267,982 public votes across 22 award categories. The team delivered the screen content, live stream and full event production, supporting both the live ceremony and audiences watching online.

Building on a growing partnership

The 2026 event built on the success of the previous year and marked the latest stage in a relationship with the UK Theme Park Awards that has developed over several years.

Attendance increased by 58% compared with 2025, while same-day viewership of the live stream increased by 142%. A total of 16,187 people visited the UK Theme Park Awards website on 10 September to see the final results, while the awards generated more than 50 pieces of news coverage, including BBC News, The Sun, The Mirror and the Daily Mail.

Working alongside the event organisers, the production team delivered the complete event package, including screen content and the live stream broadcast, helping audiences from across the attractions industry follow the ceremony as it happened.

”We’ve supported the UK Theme Park Awards for a number of years now, so it’s been brilliant to watch the event continue to grow and to play a bigger part in bringing it to life.

Last year was our first as Production Partner and this year we’ve built on that again, with more people in the room, a much bigger audience watching online and some fantastic coverage for the awards and the industry.

The attractions sector is a really important part of what we do, and there is always such a good energy around this event. It brings together the people and businesses creating some of the best visitor experiences in the country, so we’re incredibly proud to support it.
