TAG Live® has supported Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity through a special fundraising initiative marking Butlin’s 90th anniversary celebrations.
As part of the milestone year, Butlin’s commissioned a unique rhinestone Redcoat and auctioned the one-of-a-kind item to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, supporting the charity’s vital work with seriously ill children and their families.
Supporting an important cause
Recognising the significance of both the charity and the occasion, TAG Live® successfully bid for the Redcoat, contributing £4,500 to the fundraising effort.
However, while the Redcoat was acquired by TAG Live®, Founder and CEO Andy Mills-Brown always had another recipient in mind.
Following the auction, the Redcoat was presented to Mike Godolphin, Entertainment Director at Butlin’s, in recognition of his long standing contribution to the UK entertainment industry and his 30 years of service with the business.

Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity does incredible work and, as a business focused on creating experiences for families, it felt like a cause we were proud to stand behind. At the same time, it felt fitting that the Redcoat should ultimately find its way to Mike, a friend of more than 15 years. Over the years he has made a significant contribution to our industry, supported countless people throughout their careers and played an important role in the development of entertainment talent across the UK.
