PRESS RELEASE: TAG Live® creates and produces ‘Scream Bay’ this Halloween for a UK holiday resort first

Seal Bay Resort in Selsey, West Sussex will mutate into Scream Bay this October.

A UK holiday resort first for Halloween with unprecedented production, Scream Bay is a big budget scare attraction that some of the biggest theme parks in the business would be proud to host this Halloween.

TAG Live®, a multi-award-winning Live entertainment and events company, has pulled together a team of world-class and industry-leading scare attractions experts to produce Scream Bay for their client Cove UK:

R Space Productions

Steph Ricketts, Founder and Managing Director of award-winning immersive horror experience operators R Space Productions, comments, “R Space Productions are absolutely thrilled to be working alongside world-class industry professionals to deliver Seal Bay Resort’s first-ever Halloween event, Scream Bay.

To us, Halloween is the most exciting time of the year, and, with our award-winning experience and talent in the immersive horror industry, we’re ready to fuel the nightmares that await this October.”

Unlocked Vision

Unlocked Vision Entertainment has a hugely varied background in immersive-themed design. Their portfolio includes large-scale corporate scare attractions, smaller independent scare events, Halloween events, Christmas events, VR experiences and theatre.

Seb Blaber, Director, Unlocked Vision, adds, “we have worked on some of the biggest and scariest events in the UK, and we’re looking forward to working with TAG Live®, and Seal Bay to bring this attraction to life. Working closely with the leading UK scare industry creatives, we are creating your worst nightmare!”

Alongside the usual five-star entertainment you’d expect to see at Seal Bay Resort, guests will also be able to experience The Nightmare Project and the more ‘family-friendly’ Dr Stein’s Monster Laboratory.

The Nightmare Project

Test your nerves with The Nightmare Project. For one night only, the AEC is opening the doors to Sector 9, their nightmare research centre, to a selected group of over 14’s to see their work first-hand. Enter AEC (the Alternative and Energy Commission) and join a covert team of scientists as they aim to transform nightmares into energy.

This immersive maze experience explores how AEC can collect negative ions produced by nightmares and turn them into a renewable power source, supplying homes and businesses across the UK with this extraordinary new form of energy. Is all as it seems? Find out with live actors and special effects that will leave you screaming. Will you be next to have a nightmare collected?

Dr Stein’s Monster Laboratory

World-renowned monster maker Dr Stein is all out of ideas in his quest to create the ultimate monster. Step inside his creepy laboratory and find clues to help him in his mission. Be prepared for some spooky surprises in this family-friendly scare trail.

Head of Creative for TAG Live®, Vicky Field, reflects, “This unique holiday park Halloween spectacle has been an amazing experience for all of us. Collaborating with incredible award-winning industry experts to create Seal Bay’s first-ever ‘Scream Bay’.

I am so proud of the team to have created such an event for holidaymakers to enjoy and a first-ever scare maze that terrifies the senses as much as it invigorates.”
