As TUI Holiday Villages prepared for its 2026 resort season, it wanted a new entertainment offering that felt current, family-focused and unmistakably on-brand. The experience needed to complement the existing programme, engage guests of different ages and work consistently across nine overseas resorts.
HV Hoedown for TUI Holiday Villages
Country music, festival energy and family fun.
Creating a scalable family entertainment experience for TUI Holiday Villages
We created HV Hoedown: an immersive country-themed evening combining music, choreography, costumes, digital content, interactive activities and live performance. From the opening Totz Disco to the headline production show, every element was designed to bring families together in a feel-good celebration of country music and festival culture.
The brief
TUI Holiday Villages asked us to create an original concept that would complement its resort programme and give families another memorable evening together.
With no fixed creative direction, we drew on our knowledge of the brand and experience in family entertainment to develop an idea that felt current and accessible.
The experience needed to engage younger children, older guests and families as a whole, with activities and a headline show forming one continuous evening.
It also had to be inclusive, practical to operate and adaptable to different resort stages, with consistent delivery across nine overseas resorts.
What we delivered
Live show and family activities
We developed the complete creative and live production package. A Countrified Totz Disco leads into Rodeo Bingo, themed photo opportunities and interactive guest moments, before the headline HV Hoedown show.
Original music gives classic country influences and modern songs a “countrified” twist. Bespoke choreography, vocal arrangements, costumes, props and live instruments bring the production to life.
Digital content and visual identity
Our digital production included the HV Hoedown identity, visual artwork, animation and motion graphics for resort screens, the Holiday Villages app and guest marketing.
A green-screened Sheriff interacts with the cast on screen and teaches guests an inclusive line dance. These assets connect the activities and live show through a consistent visual identity.
Training and resort rollout
Rehearsals and team training
Following a creative workshop and concept approval, we produced the music, choreography, costumes, props and digital assets in the UK. Our creative team then travelled to Türkiye to lead rehearsals and train the resort teams.
Standardised show guides, vocal training and technical documentation supported delivery across Spain, Greece, Türkiye, Cyprus, Tunisia and Egypt.
Launch and ongoing support
A live rehearsal preview allowed stakeholders to review and approve the finished experience before launch. Dedicated Resort Directors supported each resort, adapting the production to its stage configuration and maintaining creative and performance standards.
Resort visits and in-season support help every team deliver a consistent guest experience across all nine locations.
The result
HV Hoedown launched across TUI Holiday Villages resorts from 1 April 2026, adding a country-themed evening to the entertainment programme.
The seasonal programme is designed to deliver 136 performances across nine resorts between April and November.
Early guest response has been positive, with families embracing the music, atmosphere and interactive elements. Participation has been strong across age groups.
Cast members have also responded enthusiastically to content that is energetic, structured and rewarding to perform.
Impact
HV Hoedown has given TUI Holiday Villages a scalable family entertainment concept that combines creative ambition with practical multi-resort delivery.
For guests, the experience creates an inclusive evening where tots, teens, parents and grandparents can participate together. Music, movement, character interaction and live performance transform the resort environment into a shared celebration, adding another memorable moment to the family holiday.
For TUI Holiday Villages, the project provides a standardised entertainment format that can be delivered consistently across an international resort portfolio while adapting to different stages and operational environments. Its flexible creative platform also creates opportunities for the experience to evolve in future seasons.
By combining original creative development, digital production, training and on-site support, we turned one strong idea into a consistent guest experience across nine resorts and six countries.
